from WALPOLE to BUSSELTON

It was wet again when we left Walpole - as I said earlier the park we stayed at wasn't the grandest but the location was idyllic - Don again tried his hand at fishing a reeled I just one little bream - another gorgeous jetty and beautiful pelicans
We intending staying overnight at Pemberton and doing the tram ride through the Karri forrest BUT...we missed the tram and the park there once again didn't take dogs....

It has intrigued us though that there is all this emphasis on no dogs in state forrests which I understand, but what I don't understand is why there are warnings up everywhere regarding 1080 poison in national parks....
And so on we drove through magnificent tall trees with an amazing eucalypt aroma so strong even though windows were wound up - more wildflowers

Then it was time for a wee walk.....
and on to Busselton where we are staying at the Kookaburra Caravan Park (dog friendly)...
the office staff are welcoming and friendly characters and helped with the parking of the van - a real bonus for me!!!  Even when Don does use his couple mate which are available through Cowra Phototronics and the Camping Ground
After settling in with the help of Craig we went for a walk along the huge Busselton Jetty Foreshore - the water was filthy - not sure if it had something to do with the super moon but the foreshore here is just as beautiful as so many others we have seen along the way - going back to the jetty for the walk to the end.

Even the garbage bins are lovely - all have images of the towns tourist spots on them

Catch up soon,
